Hi,
This is the topic I would like to share with you guys. Database design is one of the important things in any project. I have seen most of the times we build table as we go forward with out having database designed for optimal performance. I am not denying about its not good to build tables as we go, it would be nice if one project spend enough time on building database system before proceeding with coding. Key benefits would be.
1. Database design would help in Data redundancy.
2. Help in creating much healthier relationship among tables.
3. Good database design would provide better database performance in the long term by having client need not spend again on database optimization.
